DaniLeigh, born Danielle Leigh Curiel on December 20, 1994, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, and choreographer. She is known for her catchy melodies, smooth vocals, and danceable beats.
DaniLeigh began her career as a dancer, appearing in music videos for artists such as Chris Brown and Omarion. She later signed with Def Jam Recordings in 2017 and released her debut EP, Summer with Friends, in the same year. The EP was a commercial success, reaching number 14 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums chart.
DaniLeigh’s debut single, “My Love,” was released in 2018 and peaked at number 56 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Her second single, “Easy,” was released in 2019 and was a commercial success, reaching number 62 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
In 2020, DaniLeigh released her debut studio album, Movie. The album was a commercial success, reaching number 12 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums chart.
The album was supported by the singles “Lil Bebe,” “Levi High,” and “Blick Blick.”
